The Western Athletic Department is proud to welcome Montaous Walton to serve as the department recruiting coordinator. Building off his success at Western a team recruitor for baseball, Walton brings a passion and skill set that is crucial for the success of Western Athletics.

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Walton began his coaching journey after attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where his passion for baseball and its many dimensions took root. His career has been marked by a commitment to player development, strategic excellence, and fostering a winning culture.

Returning to his hometown of Milwaukee holds special meaning for Walton, who values opportunities to give back to the community that shaped him. Outside of baseball, he enjoys bowling, playing pool, and spending time with family and friends.
